Nearby Southport is located at the Onkaparinga River Mouth, there is a surflifesaving club, but is worth noting there are sometimes strong rips in the ocean. The river is a great spot for Stand up paddleboarding or canoeing and the walk down the cliffs is one of the most photographed spots along the coast.
